Meet Murphy

Murphy is a Golden Retriever from a highly regarded kennel known for breeding calm, steady-tempered dogs well suited to therapy, assistance and companion roles.

Currently in training for therapy work, Murphy is being prepared to work alongside Mark in environments where people and teams may be experiencing disruption, rupture, stress or disharmony. His role is to support emotional regulation, create warmth and ease, and help make difficult spaces feel more human, grounded and safe.

Murphy will join Mark in selected team settings, leadership environments and conference engagements, where his presence can help lower anxiety, soften tension and support connection. In fast-moving or high-pressure contexts, therapy dogs often bring a unique calming influence — helping people settle, engage and feel more at ease.

Still in training, Murphy represents an important extension of this work: practical, relational and psychologically informed support that recognises people do not always need more information — sometimes they need help feeling safe enough to receive it.
